Anurakti is a production choreographed by Shamitha Hettige and Vithya Arasu using
movements from several dance forms from India and Srilanka such as:
Kandyan- Udarata natum, Sambaragamuwa natum, Pahatarata Natum
Karanas, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Mohiniattam, Mayurbhanj Chhau
Shamitha Hettige and Vithya Arasu are the artistic directors of Natya Kala
Vidyalaya , a school for Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Kandyan and Natyasastra and
Dancer flow- Mindful Body based in Pondicherry and Colombo offers both online
and offline classes with over 200 and more students from around the world.
Along with them Students of Indira Performing Arts and Natya Kala Vidyalaya across Europe would be performing in this event. Here of our performers for the event.

Indira Performing Arts
Indira School of Performing Arts is a platform to promote classical art forms and artists. The aim of dance education forms the foundation pillar of this institute and various topics in Classical Arts are molded into courses. Indira School of Performing Arts is a member of the Internal Dance Council CID and works with the objective of making Indian dance accessible to everyone. Indira Performing Arts works in collaboration with Natya Kala Vidyalaya for the Marga Nritta Karanas course to make this course accessible to the students all over the world.
Natya Kala Vidyalaya
Natya Kala Vidyalaya is a performing arts institution based in Pondicherry and Colombo. The Institution is run by dance couple Mr.Shamitha Hettige and Ms.Vithya Arasu. it is dedicated to promoting and preserving different Classical dance forms, and other traditional art forms. It currently offers training in Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Bharatanrithyam, and Kandyan.
